Trade Skills Hub Academy is a publisher of practical, plain-English business guides for tradespeople and service providers. We write books that help people who are good with their hands get just as good at running the business side of things — setting up, marketing, quoting, and growing a trade or service business without the jargon.

Everything we write comes from direct experience: setting up and running small businesses, managing projects on the ground, and developing technical training materials for trades education. To keep our publications grounded in real-world practice, we also work with associates across a range of service and trade based businesses, drawing on their hands-on knowledge as we put each guide together. We know the difference between advice that sounds good on paper and advice that actually works on a Tuesday morning with a van full of kit.

Alongside our books, we’re developing trade and service-based apps designed to make everyday working life easier for the self-employed — the kind of practical tools that save time rather than add another screen to stare at.
